Before You Print
PRINTING THE PDF PATTERN
- Save the pattern to your computer.
- Open the PDF file and select PRINT. It is important that Page Scaling is set to “None” and the paper size to A4.
- First, print a single page — specifically the one that contains the control square. If the printed square has the correct measurements and the full grid is printed, you can proceed to print the entire file.
- Some patterns may include a page with a cross. This page does not contain pattern pieces and is included only to help with orientation and easier assembly. If you don’t need these pages, you can skip printing them and save paper.
ASSEMBLING THE PATTERN
- First, trim the white margins from each page so that only the grey grid remains.
- Tape the pages together according to the layout guide included with the pattern.
- Cut out the pattern pieces in your selected size. (The solid line indicates the area shared by all sizes.)
- Seam allowances and hems are not included in the pattern.
BEFORE YOU START SEWING
- Before cutting your fabric, consider whether it needs to be pre-washed or pre-shrunk depending on the material. If necessary, do this before cutting.
- Check your sewing machine manual to choose the appropriate needle and thread for your fabric to achieve the best result.
- Place the pattern pieces on the fabric according to the grainline arrows (the arrow indicates the direction of the grain). Pay attention to markings such as “Fold” — these pieces are cut on the fold, meaning the marked edge is placed along the folded fabric. Pieces marked “2x” should be cut twice to create two identical pieces. Pieces marked “2x mirrored” should be cut from doubled fabric to create two mirrored pieces (left and right).
